Started operating the 1st of 4 DC10 freighters it recently leased.
The 2nd aircraft will arrive in May 02, 3rd in Oct 02 and 4th in 2003.
The DC-10s will be leased for 5 years, with the right to back out of the agreement in 3 years with 6 months' notice with no penalty to the airline.

The first 2 of 4 leased DC10 freighters will operate on the following routes:

1st aircraft already delivered:
2x a week Norway to Tokyo via Moscow.
1x a week Hahn, Germany to Tokyo via Moscow.
1x a week Hahn, Germany to Beijing via Moscow.

2nd aircraft to be delivered in May02:
2x a week London to Tokyo via Moscow
1x a week Hahn, Germany to Tokyo via Moscow.
For the next freighter Aeroflot is in talks with DHL about operating a Moscow to Brussels service. *** Und wie oft mag die Aeroflot vom Flugplatz Hahn tatsächlich fliegen?

Böse Zungen munkeln bereits, dass die DC-10 der Aeroflot so leise sind, dass man sie noch nicht einmal sieht!
